I met the Shepherds thru a mutual friend, their neighbor. I love Randy, Linda, Jeremy and Luke. The thing that stands out in my mind is that Randy had an exceptional sense of humor, a sharp wit and an easy going demeanor. I hated it when they moved to Sherman, Tx because I never took the opportunity to visit there, even though I was invited numerous times. And then they moved to Easton. As Randy is a Christian, I am one believer myself. I'm sure he is taking care of the critters on the streets paved with gold, and I know God will bless his family and friends!

I have been close friends with Randy since 1967 so I am sad that he has left us. But I am happy that he is out of pain and with Jesus which is where he wanted to be. We certainly raised some cane in our younger days especially with loud fireworks. My life was forever changed this past Friday cause he went home. Lucky to have good friends but losing them is not fun. RIP my good faithful friend! God speed brother.

Randy and Linda have been in our lives for close to 25 years. We met them at Glory of the Lord church where we connected and our friendship grew. We have been on this journey with them through this difficult time during Randy's failing health. Support,encouragement and fellowship. Randy will be dearly missed and our continued support and encouragement and fellowship will continue on with Linda.We have lots of memories to keep us smiling about Randy. Not only was he an animal lover,but he loved talking to anyone that would listen.

Randy was an awesome guy who had a big heart. We had a lot of fun when we were Animal Control Officers for the city of Irving. All the guys would prank each other all the time and Randy was one of the main guys doing it.He could read a dogs body laungage unlike any body I ever knew. He taught me how to read their body language. He will be missed. Godspeed Randy! And God bless Linda and their kids!
