Yvonne Gilbert

*Yvonne "BonBon" Marie Gilbert, 62, passed away surrounded by family on November 1st 2024 at Lehigh Valley Muhlenberg Hospital.

*She is survived by her father Richard  Gilbert & Stepmother Sandra Gilbert of California, son Ishmael Peterson, daughter Alexis Werkheiser & her husband Kenneth Werkheiser lll (all of Easton Pa) sisters Cheryl Watson & her husband Vince Watson of Easton Pa & Shannon Gilbert-Page of California, brother Kirk Adams, Clark Peterson of Easton Pa. Grandchildren Anais Thompson, Dontae Demby, Kenneth Werkheiser IV, Aneesia Mandola, Jessup Peterson, Zaiden Peterson.

*She is preceded by her mother Marilyn Augustus (Thomas), stepfather Thomas Augustus, niece Aleaka Gilbert, grandson Zahir Peterson, granddaughter Ameria Peterson.

*Yvonne was born on April 8th, 1962 in Easton Pa. Yvonne loved spending time with her family & friends and loved to travel. In the warmer months she enjoyed cookouts, walking on trails and day trips to the beach. And boy I tell you she had style & understood fashion. Countless times random people would come up to her complimenting her taste in fashion. Yvonne didn't belong to a church but she still belonged to God. She knew she was His child & that she would see her Father in the next life.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 2-6 pm in the community center room at The Mill at Easton, Building A, 620 Coal St. Easton, PA 18042.
