Twila Maria Pierce, born on May 17, 1962, age 59, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2022, in the presence of her loving family at St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus, Easton, PA.
In Easton, PA, Twila was born to Amelia Bowles and Benjamin Smokes. Twila was the Firstborn of five children to Amelia. Twila was affectionally known as "Bunny Bowles" to many, her grandchildren as MomMom, her nieces and nephews as Bun Bun. She spent her childhood in Southside Easton. Bunny attended Easton Area High School. She was co-owner of Sistah Sistah Jewelz, owned her cleaning services, worked at A&H Sportswear and CVS Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Technician.
Twila "Bunny" enjoyed spending time with her son James Parker, IV., Adriana, and her grandchildren. With the help of her sister Lisa, Twila "Bunny" spent the last 15 years taking care of their mother. She lived her life serving others and was selfless.
Twila "Bunny" was a member of Revival Fire Ministries Int’l of Easton, PA, where she served as a Gate Keeper (Usher) and a teacher in the Children's Ministry. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She would decorate the inside and outside of her home in Steeler's colors.
Bunny loved reading her Bible and praying. She had Bible Study and prayed every night with her mother and sister. She enjoyed working on puzzles, arts & crafts, collecting dolls, knitting, crocheting, and BINGO. She also enjoyed watching the game show channel.
Twila "Bunny" truly loved life and her family. Twila "Bunny" is survived by her son, James Parker. IV., and fiancé Adriana Smith, three grandchildren: Nevaeh, Josiah, and James Parker, V., all of Coplay, PA. Mother: Amelia Bowles of Easton, PA. siblings: Keith (Dawn) Bowles of Catasauqua, PA, Jamie (Quincy) Johnson of Easton PA., Misty Holmes (Jeffrey) Dorsey of Palmer Township and Lisa Holmes of Easton, PA. Nieces and Nephews: Keith Bowles Jr, Malissa Walthall Keenan, Theron Bowles, Robert Walthall IV, Aleaha Fredericks, Brittany Walthall, Jeffrey Dorsey Jr, (Goddaughter) Jessica Chapman, Ahjah Ward; Great Nieces and Nephews: Jayden Bowles, Juelz Bowles, Jazeyon Bowles, Charish Stewart, Maurice Chapman, Jayden Dorsey, Joseph Dorsey, Jael Dorsey, Terrance Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Quaion Brown, Baizjon Macken, Ari'yon Walker, and her aunts, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death father: Benjamin Smokes, Nephew & Godson: Jordan Newman, and Beau: Earl William.
Bunny's faith was intact, and her faith remained in God. She positively touched so many lives and will be deeply missed. It is comforting to know that she is resting in the Bosom of Jesus.
Homegoing Services will take place on Thursday March 10, 2022 At 11AM in Revival Fire Ministries Int'l 927 W. Berwick Street Easton, PA. Viewing begins at 10AM. Interment will follow services in Hays Cemetery.
