Susan Julia Dell'Orfano, 64, of Easton, PA passed away September 2, 2020 while in the care of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Inpatient Hospice.
Born in Portchester in New York, Susan lived an adventurous life, defined by her appreciation of nature, sun, sand, and the ocean. Susan had complete empathy for kind beings of this world, always seeing and believing in the good in fellow humans, while fiercely defending and protecting those she loved and who loved her. She will always be remembered as a cherished daughter, sister, mother, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and good friend. A rare-to-find non-judgmental kind-hearted soul who disliked conflicts. Embracing her bohemian spirit, moving from New York, to Canada, to Hawaii, to South Carolina, Las Vegas and then Pennsylvania, Susan found friends in all these places, who equally cherished their time with her.
Susan spent many years in the catering business, catering to large concert venues in Hawaii. After, she worked as an accomplished customer service representative for various large businesses in the insurance and home furnishing / décor industries.
She leaves behind many siblings who all admired her for her passion for adventure, cooking, baking, and music and who will miss her company, great food and delicious recipes.
Susan was predeceased by her adoring first son/angel Roger who died in infancy as well as her mother Helen E. Dell (nee Fraser), father Charles L. Dell and her sister Mary. She leaves behind her son Robert Doucet, her brother Charles (wife Celine), her sister Cheryl (husband Raymond), her brother Joseph, her brother Anthony, her sister Michelle (partner Jay), and her sister Elizabeth (partner Ken). Nieces and nephews: Eric, Christopher, Melissa, Vanessa, Adam, Sean, Chelsea, Veronica, Steven, and Jackie. Great nieces and nephews: Jacob, Noah, Laurali, Eloise, Rowan, Charlie, and June.
We all love you and wish you Godspeed on this new journey.
