Robert Tyson

Robert J. Tyson ,66, of Macungie, PA passed away on December 13th, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Allentown, PA on January 19th, 1956, son of the late Robert and Pauline Tyson. He is survived by his wife, Cecile E. Tyson and his daughter Angela Herbster; he is also survived by his siblings, Beverly Reiss (Fred), daughter Kelci, and Bruce Tyson (Susan), grandchildren Amanda Granger, David Lee Swackhamer and Sabrina Green, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated from Southern Lehigh High School and went on to become an industrial maintenance mechanic until retirement in 2021.
Bob was a lifelong Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies fan, all things Philadelphia. An avid Nascar and NHRA fan and spectator, attending many races throughout his life.
A celebration of life will be held the weekend following his birthday, January 21st, 2023, details to follow.
