Ray Anthony Mclean Sr., a man known for his quiet demeanor, goofy sense of humor, outstanding culinary skills transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord on July 25, 2024. He was born on July 20,1967 to the late Cynthia Mighten-Brown and Harvey McLean in May Pen, Jamaica. Ray was the first born son of 9 siblings: Elaine Simpson, Marlene Mclean, Lavern Mclean, Nicole Nelson, Jesica Brown, Nadine Mclean-Hines, Marjorie Mclean, Antwan Brown, and Nicholas Mclean.
He navigated life's challenges with a spirit of leadership and loving heart. At age 29, Ray dedicated his life to Jesus Christ and got baptized. He was known for his diligent work ethic which was exhibited at Bron Services as a maintenance technician. In 2006, he migrated to the United States of America and resided in New York.
Due to a job opportunity, Ray ventured to Pennsylvania. He began working at Hunterdon Developmental Center. While working, he met the love of his life, Anita and they married in August 2017. They have two sons: Ray Anthony Mclean Jr. and Tyrese Winston Mclean and two bonus daughters.
Ray was an avid viewer of Investigation Discovery (ID) channel, fútbol (soccer); His favorite team was Liverpool. Ray also enjoyed watching CNN, playing dominoes, and attending skits (comedy shows).
Ray is survived by his beautiful wife, children, siblings, godchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His legacy consists of love, commitment to his family, and selfless service.
Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11am in the Shiloh Chapel on 201 Brother Thomas Bright Ave, Easton, PA 18042. Viewing begins at 10am. Interment will follow services in Forks Cemetery - Easton, PA.
