Raekwon Washington

Raekwon Washington was born on March 2nd 1998 in Easton, PA. He was the loving son of Jonathan Washington and Asia Smith, of Easton. Raekwon was a 2017 graduate of Easton Area high school and was on his way to play basketball at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

His smile would brighten up any room. Raekwon had so much love to give, and everyone loved him so much. Raekwon enjoyed playing basketball, going to the gym, being the best father that he could to his daughter, and spending time with his family, especially his mom and Grammy’s Gladys and Jeannie. He greeted everyone with a hug, and such a handsome smile. Raekwon will truly be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Leilani, two sisters Jah-nasia and Aumee; maternal grandmother Jeannie Smith; maternal grandfather Jeffrey Smith; paternal grandmother Valerie Tyson Stewart; Aunt Iesha, Aunt Steph, Aunt Carla, Uncle Jeremy; nephew Ke’Mari and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral Services will take place at 11AM on Wednesday in the Shiloh Chapel 201 Brother Thomas Bright Ave, Easton, PA.  A Public viewing in the chapel will begin at 9AM Wednesday Morning.  The viewing is open to the public however due to COVID19 and CDC regulations attendance at the funeral service AND cemetery will be limited.
