Oscar Cariston Thomas was born February 16, 1937 to Roselle and Kenneth Thomas of Davyton Manchester, Jamaica W.I. Oscar migrated to NY at the early age of 19 where he eventually found work at Chock full o’Nuts. He would eventually move on to Bell Atlantic, where he remained until retiring at the age of 55. Oscar loved to listen to music and reminisce about his life experiences growing up. Oscar was a God-fearing man that was a great provider for his family.
Oscar leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 33 years, Constance Thomas. Children; Tony Thomas (Marilyn), Sandra Thomas, Rosella Rivers (Andrew), Shaniqua Thomas, Tiffany Thomas, Oscar Thomas Jr, and Cariston Thomas. Grandchildren, Tehisha, Kenneth, Olivia, Brianna, Ava, Oscar, Nicolas, Isaiah, Kayceon, Kendrix, Omari and great grandson Jacob.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Thomas, Roselle Nelson, son Darren Gray, daughter Kendra Thomas and grandson Charrod Thomas.
Oscar was the patriarch of the family. He will be greatly missed. The family takes comfort in knowing that he is in the presence of The Lord.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday in the Funeral Home at 5:30PM. Viewing begins at 4PM.
