Michael Lewis Graves, 65, transitioned from this life on September 21, 2021 at his home in Bethlehem, PA. Michael was born in Bethlehem, PA on February 12, 1956. He is a graduate of South Plainfield High School after which he enlisted in the United States Army. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, Michael served in the New Jersey National Guard.
An avid car aficionado, Michael was gainfully employed as a Mechanic and Branch Manager for STS Firestone and Brake-O-Roma in Roselle Park, NJ. In his spare time Michael loved fishing, collecting and playing vintage guitars, traveling the country camping and visiting National parks.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Stacy Graves (Dan); mother, Hallet M. Graves; sisters, Darlene Johnson (Craig); Melissa Graves (Patrick); brothers Dennis Potillo; George Graves, Jr. (Kimberley); and several nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his former spouse, Patty M. Smith and his father George Graves, Sr. Michael leaves behind countless relatives and numerous friends whom he loved dearly.
A private service will be held September 30, 2021 at the Judd Beville Funeral Home, 1310-1314 W. Hamilton St., Allentown, PA 18102. Due to COVID-19 concerns among the family, the service will be limited to those specifically invited by the immediate family.
