Mattie L Williams

Mattie L. Williams, 85, of Northampton, PA passed away February 22, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Health Network-Muhlenberg Campus. 

Mattie Williams was born February 4, 1938 in Holly Hill, South Carolina to the Late Virgil Weatman and Quinnie Butler.  She attended school in South Carolina until she became old enough to move to New York City.  While there she worked as a home maker, bus monitor and a school aide.  She attended Tabernacle Baptist Church while residing in New York.

Mattie was the kindest person you could have known.  She was mild and considerate, sweet and caring.  She kept God in her heart every day of her life.  She truly was the best and we are going to miss her dearly.

She leaves to mourn her passing.  Her children, Lola, Bluette, Evette, Pam, Lester, James and Dean.  She also leaves a host of grand children, great grand children, extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday at 1PM in the Funeral Home.  Viewing beings at 11AM.
