Luz Eneida Pagan was born in Puerto Rico on August 14, 1956. She was raised in Barranquitas, PR and moved to New Jersey after graduating high school.
Our mom was a gentle soul who loved to laugh. She was a spunky woman with a great sense of humor and a great example of a mom. Although most poeple knew her from her quiet timid side. She loved flowers, roses were her favorite, plants and animals. She preferred cats as pets or small dogs. She was hardworking and selfless. She was a pastor's wife, mom of 3. She is survived by her son Emmanuel Martinez, daughters Carolina Tirado and Diana Santos Smith, Step Son Nelson Santos, Jr. and her husband Nelson Santos. She is survived by her grandchildren, Anthony Santos, Edwin Santos, Ariana Tirado, Alyssa Tirado, Anthony Tirado Jr, Alexander Tirado and Caleb Tirado.
She was the oldest of 6, daughter of Aida Santiago and the late Felix Pagan. She is survived by her siblings, Felix "Junior" Pagan, Saudi Pagan, Jaime "Jimmy" Pagan, Zulma Pagan, and Madeline Pagan. Many nieces and nephews, who will all miss her dearly.
Crocheting and sewing were some of her hobbies. She was also an amazing cook. She leaves behind a legacy that will live on in her daughter's Carolina's cooking and in the sense of humor that was inherited by her grandchildren. A legacy of selfless sacrifice and generosity in giving anything and everything she could to help others.
