Keith C Livingston
August 30, 1959 ~ October 6, 2023 (age 64) 64 Years Old
Minister Keith Carl Livingston of the late Avie and Willie Walls was born on August 30th,1959, in Brooklyn New York. He transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord on October 6th,2023 at St.Luke's hospital in Bethlehem PA and was surrounded by loved ones. Proceeding him in death was his daughter Faith Livingston.
At an early age Keith was involved in the church and was their drummer. Keith was an athlete and played baseball for the Police Athletic League in Brooklyn NY. Keith loved to play handball and was an avid bike rider. Keith practiced hard on his school work since his grandmother and mother expected the best. Because of his hard work Keith developed excellent penmanship and had a knack for coloring and drawing. Keith attended Franklin K Lane highschool in Brooklyn. Growing up in Brooklyn Keith enjoyed telling jokes with his Big brother Charles Sampson. As he got older Keith became a bike carrier and served on the security team at his church under Bishop Foster in New York.
In 2004 Keith moved from New York to Allentown Pennsylvania when he began dating his now wife Tonya Livingston. Keith and Tonya married on February 27th ,2005 and for 18 years they shared a beautiful life together. Keith helped raise Tonya's two daughters and their fur baby Mr.Gilmore. Keith was full of playful banter and also carried a sense of seriousness about him. Under that serious face was a man who loved to laugh. He loved to joke with his wife about who was the boss in their relationship. Keith and his wife had a language of their own that only they truly understood. Keith was a man who loved to spoil his wife and made sure she never had to open her own doors.
Keith led a life of service and was committed to any task he took on.When he moved to Allentown he spent most of his years in the food industry and the last few years looking after children as a bus monitor. Many children grew to love Keith and they would draw portraits of him and other pictures to show their appreciation. Keith was ordained as a Minister on July 7th, 2010, under 4th United Church of God by Rev. Sam Kelley. Keith continued his journey to serve God at Word of Faith Church led by Pastor Young. Keith led the church's men's group and prayed for the church before the beginning of every Sunday service. Keith was a God Fearing man whose faith never wavered. Keith was known by many different names, Kay, Keithard, and Poppy and was and is loved by many.
Although he is not on this earth with us his memories will be with us always. Keith leaves behind the following behind to keep his memories alive: Tonya Livingston (wife), Ashley Nevers & Symone Woodford (stepdaughters), Annie Brown (second mother), Charles Sampson & Anthony Woodford (Brothers), John III, Olivia, and Makena Nevers (grandchildren), John Nevers jr (son-in-law), 1 brother in law , 3 sisters in law, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and a host of other family and friends.
