Jimmeka D Hernandez

Jimmeka Deloris Hernandez aka "Meka Mouse" transitioned to her heavenly home on November 24, 2022 at the age of 36. 

She was born on April 16, 1986 to Jimmy Reese and Lydia Hernandez in Brooklyn, NY. Meka was a graduate of Allen High School and studied at L.C.C Early Childhood Developement. She worked at the PPL Arena Event Center as a staff Supervisor and also worked at Luis A. Ramos Elementary School. she received the Superintendent's Parent Award of Excellence.

Meka enjoyed listening to music, hanging out with her cousins, loved being around children and her family. Her favorite foods were Cheese steaks and Chili.
The very thing that made Meka so special was that she was always there to lend a hand to anyone that was in need. She was quiet, layed back and reserved but when she needed to get her point across she did just so.

Meka was a young child when she became a member of the Word of Faith Church and grew up in sunday school along with her family.

Meka was survived by her parents, sister Allana Shelton, brother Allan Shelton jr aka AJ, Grandmother Deloris Hernandez, and Aunt Elisa Hernandez. Best Friends Ashunti Hernandez and Krizzia Jorge and also to cherish her memories is a host of cousins, Great Aunts and friends. One uncle Rafael Hernandez that preceded her in death.

Meka will continue to live in our hearts forever.   Funeral Services will take place on Friday December 9, 2022 at Word of Faith Church 837 Linden Street, Allentown, PA 18102 at 12PM.  Visitation begins at 11AM.
