Jesus Velez, Jr.

Jesus Velez, Jr., 62, of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully in his home on May 4, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 15, 1960 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico as the oldest of 8 children, and was raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was a loving father of 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 4 dogs, and was known as a very hard-working person who was always there with a joke or funny story to lighten the mood. He worked for 17 years as a laminator at Off the Wall in Telford, PA.

Jesus was an animal lover who cherished being out in nature and taking long walks. He loved taking care of his dogs, feeding the birds, and caring for many other kinds of animals. Jesus loved spending time with his family and was an avid movie watcher. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Rafaela Roman, his siblings, Miguel Velez, Marianita Velez, Felix Velez, Carlos Velez, Rosemarie Roman-Geroulo, Ruth Martinez, and Louis Fernandez, his children, Jesus Velez, III, Miguel Velez, and Aleesya Velez, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 5-8 pm in the Funeral Home,.
