Jakeem Jourdain In Our Care

In Loving Memory of Jakeem Jack Jourdain

October 9, 2001 – April 5, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jakeem Jack Jourdain, who transitioned on Easter Sunday morning, April 5, 2026. Though his time here was far too short, the love, joy, and energy he carried will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

On a day that symbolizes renewal, resurrection, and eternal life, Jakeem was called home, reminding us that this is not just an ending, but a transition into peace. While we grieve his loss deeply, we find comfort in knowing his spirit lives on, embraced by something greater than we can fully understand.

Jakeem truly embraced life. He lived in the moment, free spirited, spontaneous, and always ready for whatever came next. He had a deep passion for football, a sport that reflected his strength, determination, and drive. Above all, he was known as a hard worker with a generous heart, always willing to help others and taking pride in everything he did.

His presence was unforgettable. He greeted everyone with a bright smile and his contagious laughter, along with his signature long black hair, effortlessly standing out wherever he went. He had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and uplifted. One thing that stood out about him was that he would always let you know exactly what was on his mind and how he felt, honest, real, and unapologetically himself. That light is how he will always be remembered.

Jakeem was a devoted son to his mother, Jacqueline Breeland, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally. The love he had for his mother was pure, strong, and unwavering, she was truly his heart. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with love, loyalty, and a connection that went beyond words. He was also a beloved son to his father, Victor Jourdain. Jakeem was a loving and proud father to his son, Jakarri Jack Jourdain, who carries forward his father’s spirit, with a smile just as bright and full of light as his dad’s.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Ukeen, Naheem, Raheem, Hasheem, Jason, Jazain, Justice, Serenity, and Savannah, and his beloved twin sister, Jaylein Jourdain, his other half, with whom he shared a bond that began even before their very first breath.

Jakeem’s life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and impact. He touched countless lives simply by being himself. While we grieve his loss deeply, we also celebrate the memories and the love he gave so freely.

Rest peacefully, JaJa. Your light, your laughter, and your spirit will never fade. You are forever loved and will never be forgotten.

A message from us all: you are a part of us forever. No matter where life takes us, we will carry you in our hearts every step of the way. We got you. JR will be okay. We love you forever and always.

Watch over Mom, bro bro.
