Isaiah Ewell

ISAIAH TURHAN EWELL, affectionately known as ZAY, was born on August 7, 2000, to Pearl and Nolyn Ewell in Newark, NJ. He departed this life on Saturday, September 27, 2005. 

He started school in Newark, until his family moved to Bethlehem, PA where he continued his education there. He graduated from William Allen High School and later obtained his CDL License. He then graduated from Cosmetology school and became one of the most beloved hairdressers in Allentown and surrounding areas. Zay hosted multiple party events in the city of Allentown, which made him B.K.A. “THE PARTY KING.” 

Isaiah began his career as a truck driver but realized it was NOT for him. His passion was doing hair, so he followed his dream. After moving around from Georgia and back to Allentown, Isaiah finally moved to Salisbury, North Carolina. Last year, he opened his dream salon “ZAYY DID THATT” which was thriving at the time of his untimely death. 

Isaiah leaves to mourn his loving parents, his grandmother Dolores Ewell; his sisters Brianna and Christina, his brothers, Justin, Brian, Joshua, James, and Johnathan; three nephews, Carmelo, Jeremiah, and Justice; and one niece, Danaisha. In addition, he leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday October 4, 2025 at 12PM in Restoration Temple 1101 W. Tilghman St. Allentown, PA.  Viewing will begin in the church at 10AM.  Interment will follow services in Garden of Peace Cemetery-Whitehall.
