Harold Benjamin London Sr. transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, May 29, 2023. Harold affectionately known as HOLLYWOOD Harold, was born on September 10, 1949, to the late Pearlie and Orelia London in Clinton, NC. At the early age of 5, Harold migrated to New Jersey where he was educated in the Newark School System. At the age of 13, Harold had a special fondness of cars. In his early teens, he met and began to court Barbara (Duckie). That courtship blossomed into an amazing love story producing a big, beautiful family. At the age of 21, on July 23, 1971 Harold began working at Ford Motor company from which he retired after 32 years. The joy of his life was Barbara, his children and grandchildren. He loved football (especially the Eagles), watching old westerns and NASCAR. Harold was not only a wonderful husband and amazing father, he was also a natural born entertainer…always ready to bust a move when one of his favorite songs came on. You could always catch “Hollywood” on the dance floor at any function he attended. Harold was a devoted husband of 54 years to Barbara whom he adored, his children Tracey, Harold Jr. (Niesha) and Wakenda Hill (Gerald 2nd). Fourteen grandchildren Tineisha, Latoya, Russell, Nataijah, Harold III, Tariq, Marquan, Wakiyah, Marwan, Tawan, Wazirah, Wagerah, Trayvon and Gerald III…, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Harold leaves to cherish his memories 2 sisters Geneva Alston, Sharon Hunter and 1 brother Oscar. 3 sisters-in-law Alice, Florence and Mary Lou Bogan and 1 brother-in-law Dr. Homer Lee Nelson (Celeste)As well as two special friends Joe and Lynda Milo. Harold is preceded in death by his beloved parents Pearlie and Orelia London, his twin brother Carroll, 6 brothers George, John, Neil, Stacey, Maxwell, Jeremiah and 2 sisters Easter and Louise. Funeral Services will take place on Friday June 9, 2023 at 11:30AM in the Main Sanctuary of Greater Shiloh Church 403 Pastor Fred Davis St. Easton, PA Viewing begins at 10AM. Interment will follow services in Hays Cemetery-Easton.
