Eunice Parker In Our Care

Eunice Parker, 58, of Frackville, PA passed away suddenly on May 5, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Potttsville Campus.  Born in Easton, PA on July 3, 1965 she was the daughter of the Late Sally Parker.

In Loving Memory of my grandmother Eunice Parker “’With every heartbeat, give love; with every breath, give life.'" It's with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to my beloved Grandmother Eunice Parker. She wasn't just a grandma; she was the cornerstone of our family, the glue that held us together with her unwavering love and boundless compassion. Grandma's journey began long before I came into this world, growing up in the warm embrace of a children's home, where her heart was molded by the love she shared with countless children. They didn't just call her Eunice; to them, she was "gg," a second mother who nurtured them with kindness and understanding. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by her brother Lonnie, sister Remonia, her extended brother Edward White “Uncle Philly”,daughter, my mom Dlwanna, and us, her grandchildren: Yaya, Dahji, Sabria, and me. Alongside many more of her blood, adopted and gained family. Grandma's love knew no bounds, and she poured every ounce of it into us, shaping us into the people we are today. Yellow was Grandma's color, bright and warm like her spirit. She could light up a room with her infectious smile and her laughter that filled our hearts with joy. Before her injury, she loved taking us to beautiful parks, where we'd run and play, soaking in the beauty of nature together. Later in life, Grandma found fulfillment in caring for others, working in patient care with a heart as big as the sky. She always said that caring for people was her calling, and she lived that truth every single day. In the kitchen, My Grandmother was a magician, whipping up the most delicious meals with a sprinkle of love and a dash of her secret ingredient: kindness. And her bond with Grandma Sally was unbreakable, a friendship that stood the test of time, just like the paintings she treasured that I have with me now. Eunice had a knack for honesty, always telling it like it is, even when the truth was hard to hear. She was a quick critique, but never meant to be malicious. Despite her own struggles, she never lost her gentle spirit or her unwavering faith in the goodness of people. In her final days, Eunice found solace in the simple joys of phone calls and trivia games, always making sure we felt loved and cherished. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire us for generations to come. As we say our goodbyes, I take comfort in knowing that Grandma's spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Eunice. Your love will guide us always, and your memory will be a blessing that we carry with us every day. Forever and always I’ll Love you grandma Eunice to the sky and back.
