Eric A Seale

 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Arnold Seale Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on December 21, 2024, at the age of 79. Eric passed away peacefully at the Veterans Hospice in Wilkes-Barre, PA after a courageous battle with cancer.

Eric was born on July 6, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from George Wingate High School  Where he lettered in track and field winning numerous medals in open competition throughout the New York metropolitan region. After graduation he pursued higher education at Central State University. A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Eric served during the Vietnam War, working on fighter jets and exemplifying dedication and honor.

Eric was a man of great humor, wisdom, and love, cherishing the time he spent with family and friends. He was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees and an avid pool player, sharing his joy and enthusiasm with everyone around him.

Eric leaves behind his devoted wife, Jo Ann Seale; his beloved daughter, Robin Monique Simpson-Golden, and her husband, Lee Golden; his son, Eric Arnold Seale Jr., and his wife, Daina Seale; and his cherished grandchildren, Jalen Michael  Simpson, Mason Geoffrey Seale, Mila Grace Seale, and great-grandson Elijah Simpson.  His only brother, Glenn. Campbell Seale and  six  brother-in- laws Bishop Jerry Kelly and wife Pastor Brenda Kelly Pastor  Marvin Johnson and wife Angie , Eddie Jones  and wife Yvette Jones . Reginald and Cynthia  Herman , James Johnson Jr. and wife Ruth, and Paul Herman and a host  of neice’s and nephews . He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Maddox; and a host of additional  family members and dear friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick Arnold Seale and Laura Johanna Seale; his grandson, Justin Simpson; his in-laws,  James and Lorraine Johnson ; and Mildred and Clarence Farrar  and Son-in-law Vincent A Simpson . 

Eric's unwavering spirit and love for life will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday January 2, 2025 at 12PM in Greater Shiloh Church-North Campus.  Viewing begins at 11AM

Interment with full Military Honors will take place on Friday January 3, 2025 at 10:30AM in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery-East Hanover Twp (Annville, PA). -Procession will meet at the Cemetery Gate at 10:15AM.
