On Monday, July 3, 2023, Warren’s life’s journey came to a sudden end when God sent His Angels to take him to his eternal resting place. Warren Foster Johnson was born March 10, 1937, to the late Florence Smith (Davis) and William Johnson in Allentown Pa. Warren was the eldest of 11 children from a blended family. In his early years, the family relocated to Cumberland Md. where Warren attended Allegany County Public Schools. In 1955, Warren enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman Recruit, and served our Country for 21 years, retiring in 1976 as a CPO with full Military Honors.
After retirement, Warren became a Deputy Sheriff and remained in Law Enforcement for 15 years. During his Military career, he met and married the beautiful Virginia Enos, and together they had 8 children. Upon her death, he met and married Kathryn Harper (Jackson) and moved to Bangor Pa. and he became a dad to 4 more children.
Warren’s love for the Lord, led him to become an advent reader of the Word, while attending several Ministerial Institutions and Bible colleges.
Although he attended several Churches, his devout Spiritual journey became apparent when he joined New Life Open Bible Church in Springfield Va. Where he was first ordained as Deacon. After moving to Pennsylvania, Warren joined Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Stroudsburg Pa.
In February 2020, He decided to visit Restoration Temple in Allentown Pa, and found his home. On July 26, 2020, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Timothy E. Beville, Jr., Warren was ordained as an Elder. His love for God and his Church was exemplified by attending regularly & supporting the growth of the Church through his lifetime.
Warren is predeceased by his first wife (Virginia), Parents, Sibling (Fred) and one son (Wayne).
Left to cherish his memories are wife (Kathryn), one son Warren Jr. (Fay)Norfolk Va. Six daughters, Maria Madum (Robert) Warwick RI, Denise Lipscomb (Curtis) Norfolk Va. Deborah Simpson, Lorton, Va. Darlene Reaves, Arlington Va. Dawn Wanzer, Woodbridge Va., Deanna Johnson ( Marko), The Harper Clan: Diane Hayes (Greenville N.C.) Lamont Chapman (Greensboro N.C.), Janet Harper (Merrick L.I.) & Jasmine Harper (Brooklyn N.Y.) 18 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grands, & 1 Great, Great Grand.

Funeral Services will take place on Sunday July 16, 2023 at 4PM in Restoration Temple 1101 W. Tilghman St. Allentown, PA 18102. Viewing will begin at 2PM.
Interment with full military honors will take place in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 10:30AM Monday July 17th, 2023.
