Edith Graver, 93, of Allentown, PA passed away Sunday May 15th in Phoebe Home-Allentown. Born in Germany on October 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the Late Valentin Buchs and Angela (Behr). She was a homemaker and loving mother to her children, her husband Forrest Graver passed away in 2005. Edith was a devote Jehovah’s Witness, she attended both the Allentown and Bethlehem Kingdom Halls. She was very devoted in her faith and enjoyed going door to door so she could share what she so strongly believed in. She enjoyed planting flowers. She was an excellent seamstress, baker, and chef. Edith is survived by three sisters Maria Schmitt of Saale Germany, Klara Reinold of Koenigshofen Germany, Verna Reich of Obereisenheim Germany, a brother Theobald Buchs of Berchheim Germany daughters Marion Wineck of Bielefeld Germany, Jan Marks of Allentown PA, Iris Vogelsinger of Bethlehem PA, Grace Carom of Schnecksville PA, her sons Forrest Graver, Jr. of Allentown PA, Glen Graver of Bethlehem PA and Lothar Graver of Boyertown PA, 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren She has two brothers and two sons who preceded her in death Ludwig Buchs of Saale Germany and Lothar Buchs of Grosseibstadt Germany, Robert Graver of Bethlehem PA, and John Graver of Bethlehem PA. A memorial service will be held for Edith Graver on Zoom through the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Emmaus Avenue Allentown PA. Details will be forthcoming.
