Deborah (Posten) Bryant, 75, of Bethlehem, PA passed away December 4, 2024 at the VNA Hospice of St. Luke. Born in East Stroudsburg, PA on August 11, 1949 she was the daughter of the Late Charles L. Posten and Constance A. (Chambers) Posten (Witcher). She attended Ramsey Elementary, Stroudsburg High School and later graduated from Nether Providence High School in Wallingford, PA. She received a B.A. in elementary Education from Cheyney State University and her love for teaching translated to 35 years as one of the first black teachers at the Easton Area School District, where she was teacher and mentor to many. She loved dancing, football (fly Eagles fly), basketball and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death in addition to her parents, her husband Sancho P. Bryant and a brother Kurt L. Posten.
Funeral Services will take place on Friday December 13, 2024 at 12PM in Restoration Temple 1101 W . Tilghman St. Allentown, PA 18102. Viewing begins at 11AM. Interment will follow services in Greenwood Cemetery-Allentown.
