David S. Choice, Jr., 64, of Tobyhanna, PA transitioned from Labor to Reward on November 17, 2020 at home. He was the loving husband to Deaconess Kathi Choice (Whack) for 30 years. Born on October 24, 1956 in Jersey City, NJ he was one of 4 children by David and Sarah Choice. He was educated in the Jersey City School System and Vermont Academy Prep School. He later attended North Eastern University in Boston, Maine.
Prior to retirement David was employed as a Train Engineer for 29 years with the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Railroad. David was an active and faithful member of Restoration Temple in Allentown, PA and was baptized at Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Stroudsburg by the Rev. Gary Hughes.
He leaves to mourn his passing, in addition to his wife, a son Steven Thompson, 2 Sisters Rhonda Carey and Sandra Smith, 3 Brothers Jerome & Nathan Choice, and Emmanuel Thomspon, Grandchildren, Nadir, Nadiah and Naeem Simmons and a host of extended family, friends and Restoration Temple Family.
Homegoing Services will take place in David's beloved church Restoration Temple 41 S. Carlisle St. Allentown, PA on Saturday November 28th at 11AM. Viewing will begin at 10AM.
