Davene A Truss

Davene "Mom Dukes" Truss, born November 27, 1955, in Easton P.A., passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025 in Bethlehem, P.A. She was 69 years old.  

Davene is lovingly remembered by her sons Greg Cartagena, his wife Rachel Cartagena, and David Wagner; daughters Krystal Cartagena and Breanna Truss; sisters Gwen Munz and Marsha Rohn; brothers Bud Wagner and Jeff Wagner; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.  Davene was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Georgine Wagner, whose memories she carried with love throughout her life.  

Davene had a knack for making friends easily and cherished her many close relationships. She had an unwaving devotion to her family. She loved to brag about her big family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A woman of simple pleasures and joyful pastimes, Davene found happiness in playing bingo, dominoes, cards and bird watching. Music filled her days and lifted her spirit. Her home was often filled with laughter and love, where stories were shared over games and melodies. 

May the memory of Davene Truss bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
