Claritta Wright

Claritta Wright 59 of Philadelphia, Pa. Passed away Tuesday April 2, 2024 In the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Born on October 30,1964 in Philadelphia Pa. She was the daughter of the Late John Wright and Elaine Wright. Late sister Harriet Wright.

Claritta graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 1982. Following she attended Nursing school where she received her certificate in Medical Assistance. She worked as a home healthcare provider, as well as Painting, cleaning homes and small businesses throughout South Philly. She was known by the name Kay. She loved all of her family Dearly and was loved by everyone.

Kay had a heart of gold and was always open to lend a help and hand to anyone. She was always full of laughter and Joy. Kay enjoyed singing. The family always loved to here her sing Tina Marie songs. she also enjoyed bike riding with her partner Zaid. They were like two peas in the Pod. They loved each other dearly.

Kay leaves to mourn her passing, her sibblings  Alberta Wright, John Boyd (Late Michelle) Francis Boyd, William Boyd, Richard Boyd, Anthony Boyd, (Nicole) Theresa Jones (Joe) Dwight Wright, Margaret Wright, Partner Zaid, 1God child and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will take place in the Shiloh Chapel on Friday April 12, 2024 At 11AM.  Viewing begins at 10AM.
