Cheryl Vaughn

Cheryl Vaughn was born August 20,1954 to the late Clara Cooper and James Walter Jackson in Newark, New Jersey. She departed this life on October 4, 2022 on the Inpatient Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital- 17th Street Campus.  Cheryl was raised and educated in Newark, New Jersey. Cheryl loved the Lord and her children, grandchildren and family very much. She was a prayer warrior. She worked at the VA medical center in Lyons New Jersey for many years, and left there in 1995 to pursue another career.

            Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory, her two beautiful children Julius Vaughn(Mikyle), and Cynthia Vaughn; grandchildren Sasha, Brycen, and Tristan. Cheryl also leaves behind one sister Bernita Jackson, one brother James Jackson, and a host of nieces and nephews. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother Clara Cooper, father James Walter Jackson, one sister Ida Richardson, 2 brothers Gregory and John Jackson.  She will be missed forever.

Funeral Services will take place in the Funeral Home On Friday October 14, 2022 at 12PM.  Viewing beings at 11AM.  Interment will follow services in Greenwood Cemetery-Allentown.
