Charlotte Sims

Charlotte Sims passed away April 25th in Allentown, PA. She was born on January 2nd, 1947 to James and Minnie Sims in Darlington, South Carolina. 

She was one of ten children. Her 9 siblings are Sally Sims, James Sims Jr, Carey Sims, Paul Edward Sims, Benjamin Sims, Catherine Bull, Mae DeWitt, Ernestine Sims, and Margaret Sims. She has three children with her deceased husband Charles Sims; two deceased: Yvette and Lennie and one surviving: Wayne Sims. She also has a daughter in law, Lillie Moore. Her grandchildren are Zakiya Sims, Buthayna Sims, Amanda Sims, Lenny Moore, Alex Sims, Charles Sims, Charone Moore, Lynette Morren, Travis Morren, and Elijah Morren. She also leaves behind her great-grand children Nasir Williams, Chase Thompson, Amelia Robinson, Elijah Moore, Melani Moore, Darrin Moore, and Devin Moore.

Charlotte was known throughout her community and family as having a lively personality and being a kindred spirit. She enjoyed cooking, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, and doing puzzles. Her favorite Bible scriptures were Pslams 23 and Pslams 91. Her vivacious smile and personality will truly be missed by everyone.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, May 5th at Judd-Beville Funeral home in Allentown, PA at 12PM.
