Cecilia Cuevas Morales

Cecilia Cuevas Morales, 81, passed away May 9, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Health Network-Cedar Crest.  Born in Puerto Rico on October 28, 1942 she was the daughter of the Late Geraldo Cuevas and Confesora Morales.

A Woman full of willpower and hunger for life. Cecilia birthed two children, Frank & Gilbert. Gilbert died at the age of 16 yrs. of age. Cecilia went through a devastated moment in life having to bury her son Gilbert with the support of family and friends. Cecilia was left with one son Franky who was her entire world following the death of Gilbert. Cecilia stood by Franky through all steps of life, good or bad.

Cecilia landed from Puerto Rico at a young age in Brooklyn, New York and got her 1st apartment in which she lived and raised her son Franky for nearly 30 years. Cecilia was full of life, a woman who loved make-up, dressing nice, smelling good and cooking. Cecilia focused her life on raising kids and being a sister to her siblings. She also dedicated her life to helping family raise their kids, Millie Rivera was raised by Cecilia and following Millie she also raised Millie’s two children, Jorge, and Jasmine Rivera.

Her 1st son created his 1st born Lisa Kresge (Echevarrias), Who gave birth to Cecilia’s great grandkids, Christopher, Isaiah, and Elizabeth. Adam Cartwright 2nd born from Frank Echevarrias, also fathered her great grandkids, Jesus, Angel, Elizabeth, Pricilla, and Paris. Cecilia took pride in raising children and teaching them the ways of life and as strict as she was, she also loved very hard.

Her Son Frank Echevarrias Jr later passed away of a heart attack leaving Cecilia devastated and loss of both of her own children 6 years prior to today. Franky died at the age of 56, leaving Cecilia alone and the hopes too soon to reunited with both her sons again.

Cecilia leaves behind brothers and sister, Genoveva Santana, Juan Cuevas, Carmen H Cuevas, Thomas R Cuevas, Carmen L Cuevas, Jerry Cuevas, Virgen Cuevas and their children.

Thank you for those who made it out to see Cecilia and say their final goodbye, Milagros & Abel Camilo, Freddie and Tanya Rodriguez. A dearest friend, Isis. 

Cecilia was loved by many and cherish by all. May she Rest In Peace finally.
