Betty Lewis

Betty Lewis, 81, of Allentown, PA, passed away at home on November 24, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on March 1, 1944, in Shelby, NC, Betty was the daughter of the late Fred and
Corrine Huskey. Betty was married to the late Elijah Lewis for 47 years. Betty was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church and worked at Western Electric, retiring from Caloric after many years of service. 

Betty leaves to cherish her memory children: Wanda (James) Malone, Craymon (Sherry) Huskey, Ronnie (Nicole) Huskey, Danielle (Sean) Rice, Jacinta Huskey, and Carmella (Latticia)
Currie. Siblings include Shirley Baity, Rosa McNeil, Lorine Brown, Juanita Griffin, Jerry Pearson, Brenda Burton, Walter Jackson, and Cheryl Page. Betty is also survived by a host of
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Betty was predeceased by spouse Elijah Lewis, daughter Farris Jefferson, grandson Isaac Jefferson Jr., and siblings Marylee, Marvin, Gregory, Donnie, Vivian, and Robert.
Betty leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and laughter. Her family, friends, and community will miss Betty’s quick wit, sense of humor, smile, loving ways, and affection.

Funeral Services will take place on Monday at 11AM in Union Baptist Church.  Viewing begins at 10AM.  Interment will follow services in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
