Barbara Ann Hayford, of Walnutport, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Barbara was born in Passaic and a long time resident of Wallington, New Jersey. She was a devoted member of Most Sacred Heart Church and a physical education teacher for Most Sacred Heart School in Wallington, New Jersey.
Barbara was the daughter of the late Frank and Violet Bujas.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David D Hayford Jr., and her daughter, Kimberly.
Barbara will be remembered for her feisty spirit, her deep love of her family, and her generous heart—qualities she showed so clearly in the devoted care and advocacy she gave her husband throughout his 20 year battle with multiple sclerosis.
She is survived by her sons, Marc Hayford and David Hayford III; her daughter-in-law, Christina Hayford; and her cherished grandchildren, Kane, Jayda, and Harrison. She is also survived by her sister, Loretta Fisher of Easton; her brother, Francis Bujas of Wallington, New Jersey; her brother-in-law, Terry Fisher; her dear friend and companion, Barry Fitzgerald, with whom she resided; her nephews, Jon and Jason Fisher; and her great-niece, Lylah.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ First Church in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
