Roy Lee Tarboro Sr, family Patriarch, fell asleep in death on July 9, 2019 at 10:30 PM at St Luke’s Anderson after a bout with pneumonia - with family by his side.
Roy was 92 years old and lived in Bethlehem, Pa most of his life. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the US Navy. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel Company, retiring in the early 1980’s. Roy was lovingly referred to as the energizer bunny, because he was always on the move. He loved dancing, visiting relatives, taking road trips, and being silly, and he continued working into his 80’s.
Roy was the last of 21 siblings. He was married twice -his first wife was Marion (predeceased), and his second wife Dolores (predeceased). He had 8 children – Mary Frances (d), Julia, Jane, Roy Jr, Phillip, Rickey (d), Royal Kim, and Shelley.
Roy had 24 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren.
His legacy will continue forever.
Services will take place at 11AM Saturday July 27, 2019 In Life Church -Nazareth Campus 4609 Newburg Road, Nazareth, PA. Visitation begins at 10AM. Interment will follow services in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
