Loverta H. Perry

Loverta H. Perry, 64, of Easton, PA made her transition on Thursday June 22, 2017 at the Hospice House in Bethlehem, Pa. Born on September 24, 1952 in Vivian, WV, Loverta was the daughter of the late David Wesley and Ann Junette Perry. She graduated from James Hillhouse High school in New Haven, CT. She was employed by Pratt and Whitney while living in Connecticut and retired as a Corrections officer for the State of NJ after 27 years of service. She was an active and ever present member of Greater Shiloh Church where she served on numerous ministries including, security, bereavement, choir, food pantry, and homeless shelter. She is survived by her loving daughter Summer Love-Mitchell, son-in-law Curtis Mitchell. Grandsons Jayden Bottoms and Jorden Mitchell. Godsons Joey Jones and Brian Cook, God daughters Shanel Jones, Taniesha Parker, and Shaniece Scott. Sisters-in-love Danzella Pearson, Estelita Jones,Vanessa Parker, her dogs Hershey and Aries and a host of cousins, church family, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, aunts Mary Pullens, Edna Smith, Roberta(Bernice) Jordan, Alpha(Peter) Scott, Norma(James) Parker,  uncles John(Beulah) Braggs, Joseph  and Julius Braggs, her god daughter Alicia Jones, and close friend Francine Cook

Funeral Services will take place at 12Noon Friday in the Main Sanctuary of Greater Shiloh Church 403 Pastor Fred Davis Street, Easton, PA 18042.  Viewings will take place on Thursday from 6-8PM and Friday from 10-12 all in the church.
