Layla Mae Knighton

Layla Mae Knighton, 4, of Easton, Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday May 30, 2017 in Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital-Manhattan.  

Layla Mae Knighton earned her angel wings on May 30th, 2017 surrounded by family. Layla had a rare terminal cancer called DIPG. She was a fighter and she fought until the end. Layla was a fun loving, beautiful, sassy little girl who is now forever 4. Layla is survived by her mother Carrie Knighton, step-father Robert Valls, father Maurice Wilden, sister Jaydence Wilden, grandmothers Rebecca Dewalt and Cathy Leichliter grandfather Isaac Knighton, her aunts Janeica Knighton ,Jessica Palmer , Jazmin Knighton , Rayana Dewalt & Kierra Wilden her uncle Elijah Morris, her great aunts Beth Dewalt , April Kocher, Kim Knighton, & Chris Dewalt her great uncles Dr Tyrone & Rodney Knighton &Michael Dewalt & Truman Kocher and her great grandparents Carol & Glen Dewalt and Gloria Taylor, godmother Alisandra Havens and her "sister" Gianna Gomes. And also TONS of relatives and friends. Layla was proceeded in death by her Great Grandfather Isaac Knighton grandmother Edna Wilden and her great uncle Richard Knighton.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 11:30AM in Greater Shiloh Church 403 Pastor Fred Davis Street, Easton.  Interment will follow services in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
